Painting Classes

Duration: 2 hours

Classes take place on Mondays from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Throughout these classes you will learn various techniques: you can start with drawing or develop the technique(s) you like best: oil, gouache, acrylic, watercolors.

Classes in a very relaxed and fun environment.

Painting and drawing classes develop technical, cognitive, and expressive skills essential for artistic creation and visual thinking.

  • Observational skills: Learning to see shapes, angles, proportions, and negative spaces instead of drawing preconceived symbols.

  • Mastery of light and shadow: Understanding the modeling of forms, contrasts, and lighting effects.

  • Color manipulation: Exploring color theory, mixing, harmonies, and tonal gradations.

  • Handling materials: Experimenting with diverse media such as pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pastel.

And also:

  • Visual thinking: Structuring graphic representation and organizing ideas in spatial and visual terms.

  • Creativity and innovation: Fostering expressive solutions.

  • Critical and reflective thinking: Analyzing one's own creative process, identifying areas for improvement, and substantiating aesthetic choices.
