Knitting Classes

Duration of classes : 2.5 hours In this course you will learn the basics to start knitting. We will teach you the basic techniques so that you can start participating in this world of yarns, with which artisans create pieces. We will make a simple piece so that you can practice what you learn. Throughout the course we will talk about: * Basic material needed • Types of needles • Interpreting yarn labels • The importance of samples • Casting on stitches • Weaving in the Portuguese style • Making stockinette stitches, purl stitches and ribbed stitches • Weaving flat • How to make increases and decreases • How to cast off stitches • How to finish with perfect finishes Material: not included

During the classes we will cover: * Basic material needed •  Interpreting yarn labels • The importance of samples • Making basic crochet stitches: chains, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet  • Changing yarn • And how to finish perfect  Material: not included

In knitting/crochet classes we do projects that allow you to develop skills in the art of knitting/crochet. You can choose to do the project chosen by the group or bring an individual project and enjoy doing it in this welcoming environment, being able to clarify specific doubts within the workshop's competences.
