In this course you will learn the basics to start knitting. We will teach you the basic techniques so you can start participating in this world of yarns, with which artisans create pieces.
We will make a simple, practical and cute piece for you to use and be able to practice what you learn. Throughout the course we will talk about:
* Basic material needed • Types of needles • Interpreting yarn labels • The importance of samples • Casting on stitches • Weaving in the Portuguese style • Knitting in the stockinette stitch, purl stitch, jersey stitch, mousse stitch and rib stitch • Weaving in the round and in the flat - How to change yarn • How to make increases and decreases • How to cast off stitches • How to cast off yarn • And finish with perfect finishes
